I've been thinking about getting a cat for awhile and I've finally decided to get one. Anybody have any advice on what kind to get? A cat that stays small would be sweet....like kitten size their whole life if such a cat exists. If anybody could help me out that'd be sweet.

I love Mancoons... although the size thing you want doesn't happen with them. They can also be a bit of a shedding mess, but they're so fluffy and soft!
I have a Siamese mix. She has all the colors and personality but isn't really skinny, nor is she long-haired. She kind of looks like a tabby.
Cats are great pets to have. Mine is very loving, which surprised me, given the reputation cats have. There's nothing better than having your kitty curl up next to you while your playing. :)
Try getting a breed that has some personality:
- Siamese
- Calico
Calicos can be a bit wild, so try getting a mixed breed. There are some types of cats that stay comparatively smaller than average cats, (their name excapes me now) but I don't think they'll ever stay kitten sized. Hope this helps a bit.

Dogs are dumb face. They smell really bad and they're big and their hair is gross and did I mention they smell horrible? And they're all happy and jumping and barking and like jumping on you and licking all over...it's gross. I feel like I'm getting molested everytime I get near one of those happy dogs.
Get a ragdoll, I have one, she's been a good cat, but her days are numbered, she's going to a better place very soon due to reasons outside of my control.

-well, okay. Sometimes they smell and need a bath...but so do you. Ever try giving a cat a bath?
