I've had cats, I've had dogs. Love them both. Cats, however, are way better suited for a person like me.
Cat's are cool but I rarely see people treating cats like cats should be treated. They are much cooler if you take the time to learn about their ways.
To quote a headline in the Onion:

Dogs own you.
Cats are neat... but dogs are so much better.
What they lack in instinct, they make up for in finesse.
And undying, unconditional love.
My doggy died last month of old age... I'm very sad.
I hated cats until I met my friend's de-clawed cat. De-clawed cats rock. I could actually play around with it without getting all scratched up. The cat still had claws on its hind paws, just not on its front paws. He didn't declaw his cat on purpose, they needed to be taken out for reason.
So yeah, declawed cats rock.

We have two full-grown cats, and a kitten. Cats > dogs. Dogs are just too friendly for my tastes.
