the more the merrier...
i'd list my XBL tag here myself, but 1) i don't play often enough... and 2) my tag sucks and i want to change it.
According to Xbox.com, the only way to change your tag is by buying a new starter kit. (:bs: )
Yeah, or telling games that let you do so which name you'd like to use :p
Gotta look into getting it eventually...
but when you send an invite it still appears under your xbox live name...Quote:

I'm proud to be one of them.
I'm still waiting for a game to convince me to become one of them.
Capcom vs SNK 2 was more than enough for me. :)

Aside from C v. S 2, I will continue to pimp Ghost Recon. There are some decent players out there, and an 8+ solo match, or team competition, is both tense and fun. By the way, the Lobby patch worked very well -- finding games is now a breeze.Quote:

I'm glad LIVE is doing well, and its success should spur developers to create at least a few compelling online games.
Edit: Although, I've heard unfortunate reports that the Ghost Recon patch has resulted in increased latency issues. Now that's a drag.
I was suprised to see a patch for Ghost Recon when I turned it on to play online. It didnt tell what the fuck the patch did but at least I found out pretty fast. I didnt know they we're going to be able to patch games that didnt have the download content. How great would it be if they patched Capcom vs Snk2 so that it actually showed losses and quits?
I love playing online with Xbox but for me there still isnt a game for it thats a must have. Sure I have Ghost Recon, Capcom,Unreal, MotoGp, Mechassualt and NFL Fever, but none of them made me as addicted as Socom did. Sure Socom is the only online PS2 game worth playing but it just kicks so much ass. This should change when Wolfenstein comes out. That game kick major ass on PC and I just cannot wait for the Live version. Hopefully they make it where you can play at least 2 player splitscreen online like Unreal does with up to 4 people splitscreen online. Ghost Recon would've kicked that much more ass for me if I coulda played it 2 player splitscreen online. Fricking game had 2 player Co-op offline!
Eh, MechAssault is still the premiere XBL title in my eyes. Always many people online, download content, very little lag even with 8 players, 2-player online play, awesome graphics and sound, and overall a very solid engine that's simple but fun to play with alot of hidden depth. Whenever I'm in the mood, I always end up playing more games than I expected to. Even more so if the people I like to play with are online (not any of you of course :p ).
I'm thinking about getting back into CvS2 though...I still need to solve the controller problem.
ps: PSO should be cool, but $8.95 a month is pretty gnarly. $5 a month would have been easier to swallow.

Check this out from GameSpy:
Is that level in the PS2 or GC versions?Quote:
In conjunction with the European launch of Xbox Live the new Kola Cell level will be released for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.
Ironically, I already own Ghost Recon and I thought for sure it would motivate me to get on live when it was originally announced, but it's the kind of game that requires a certain time investment I can't really make.Quote:

I burned out on the DC version of CVS2. I really can't bring myself to play it again.
Right now I'm waiting to see how True Fantasy Online turns out. That might be the game to break me.
I'm loving every minute on Live. CvS2 has been preventing me from getting to High Heat Baseball 2004, GGXX, and Dark Cloud 2. And sleep! Sleep is for wimps.
Not impressed.Quote:

Xbox Live has changed my gaming life. Had it not been for Xbox Live, I would have already returned Mech Assault and CvS2 :) the ability to actually talk to the other person is a huge plus for me too.
Yeah. So we've heard. Maybe one day you'll finally show us, huh?Quote:
