No, rent it. It's short, repetative, but good fun the first time through.
You'll get more than enough play of it after a weekly rental.
Hmm, I have PS2 version and its a great game, but indeed little bit on the short side. Still its one of the bests movie to game conversions, and if you like beat-them-ups, pick it up and have blast.
I dont know how well Cube version compares to PS2 and Xbox one though. I would probably get PS2 version anyway.
The game is awesome but way too short. Rent it. As far as how it compares to the others, well, like usual, it runs @ 60fps(mostly) while the other 2 run @ 30(mostly) and it's textures don't fade like one of the others, but otherwise they're all the same. I would pay 30 for it.
Is it short even considering that you have to play through it with each character to unlock things? I am the captain of unlocking after all....
Yeah, I heard it's a good rental but alot of people say its to short to buy, then agin forty bucks new is a good deal, I say rent it first anyway...
Are you gonna make an "...is it worth it?" thread every time you leave the house? ;)
Hey I'm a cheap bastard when it comes to games, my kind is large in number......
I think it's a bit too short to buy new, especially since there's no multiplayer in it. Wait until it hits the sub-30 dollar price range, or try and pick it up used for cheaper.
I bought the PS2 version for 50 bucks when it was first released, but I got it when Toys R Us had that "Buy 2 PS2 games, get 1 free" deal running. So in the big picture, I only paid about half that.
It's a really cool game though.
It's better and usually the same price on the PS2.
But you already knew that.
