I'll bet a lot of mags would publish that if it wasn't for the spillage on the leg. That's a bit too much for most.
Great ad though.
awesome...
So where's the motivation for the consumer to actually buy the shoe? They've delivered a "shocking" image, but not a reason for Joe 'Merican to think "I gotta have me some Pumas." This isn't effective advertising.
KICK ASS
I'm gonna get some Pumas now. Really, I was plannin gon gettign a pair anyway.
First of all, it's probably a European advert and not made for the US. Have you read any Euro magazines? Especially, er, lifestyle type ones? They're very different. The Norwegian URL also makes it seem that it probably comes for Europe.Quote:

Second of all... the Puma goods are well represented/displayed in the ad. Yes, most people will notice and look at it because of the risque subject matter. That gets the attention.. and then the Puma goods are clearly displayed, and what more do you want? If people like what they see they may want to buy them. If not, they may show it to their friends because of the subject matter and someone else may want to buy some Puma goods. That's good publicity.
Funny, I thought it invoked the idea of "If I buy Pumas, I'll get head from a hot chick wearing Pumas."Quote:

That's pretty effective.
