not surprised
i say the game comes out Mid - Late 2004 and if not then itll be an XBox 2 launch title ;)
Ste-von is gonna be pissed...
Not traditional so much as tiresome.
If taking the additional time means getting it right, I say good on them. There are enough games being rushed out the door as it is.
The first one could've used a little extra work (the gameplay was spot on, but I didn't like how the second half of the game was just the first half backwards), so I don't see this as a bad thing at all. I'm glad Microsoft isn't forcing Bungie to push it out the door as fast as possible. It might not be a great move business-wise, but they've got enough money as it is.
They're taking time to do it right. Halo and Fable in early 2004? Now that's something to look forward too.
Gee, I never saw this one coming. :rolleyes:Quote:

I'm all for them delaying the game to make a better final product.
Well, yeah, I'm on board too with taking time on the game and releasing it when the final product is more polished. If Kojima and Co. hadn't been in such a rush to get MGS2 out the door before the end of 2001, the last hour or two of the game could've been as good as the rest of it, and not degraded to the point of laughable metaphysical nonesense.
But still, M$ should know this will more or less absolutely kill their 4th quarter sales this year, this was the flagship game everyone was waiting for and was going to move X-Box units at Christmas. Not anymore I guess...
I'm hoping that by some miracle, True Fantasy Live Online comes out 4th quarter in the US.Quote:

"I live on through this arm!" The last portion fit in perfectly with the hysterically bad plot throughout.Quote:
