Is anybody here thinking of participating in the upcoming 3/15 anti-war protests in LA, SF and DC? I'm considering it. Protests aren't really my thing, but recent events have finally overcome my usual apathy for politics... or at least beat it back a bit.
(Let's not make this a big 'ole flame thread, please. I'm not interested in arguing politics on a forum.)

No. I honestly dont really respect the spirit of the protests... the Bush = Hitler shit that they talk up makes my stomach turn, and last week here in school, there was a walkout at a certain time, and at that time people walked around yelling WALKOUT! and making al ot of noise to try to get people to leave. It was horribly distracting for those of us that wanted to actually get something out of our classes.
If they cant respect me, I wont respect them.

There will always be nutjobs on both sides of any issue. You can't let that color your views overly much. Right is still right and wrong is still wrong, no matter who sides with either.
