You could fake anything these days. And the shit...it came out in like a perfect ball, and it had such a weird color to it. I don't know. I'm just suspect.

But to get back to the original topic...what else keeps track of your internet activities on your PC other than the browser's history and windows' temporary internet files?
I had this popup - you know the kind, for one of those "spy cams" used for "home security". It wasn't anything particularly offensive, but the fucker was like a cockroach. It wouldn't die, even after I turned the machine off.
I eventually just cleared out my history and temporary internet files, but I notice my browser still auto-completes things from before everything was erased. No biggie, since whatever cookie was behind the popup seems to be gone, but I'm curious - where else is web stuff stored? Is there some sort of other permanent registry?

whats the diffrence between.. ads be gone.. and this proxmitron thing...? For some reason adsbegone, prevents me from seeing sites, and such with to many ads. I like a good ad blocker,like this but still lets me see stuff..
I've not had any serious display issues with it, no. It is also highly customizable, provided you're the sort that likes to tinker.
Get a different browser maruchan (Mozilla). The world will thank you.

But does anybody know the answer to my original question? Is there another registry that tracks web activity other than history and temporary files? This thing has me totally curious, and I'm wondering if there's some urls that I've lost that I could recover.
