Willy Beamish (Sega Cd) loading screen = BEST LOADING SCREEN EVARR!!
Since the game loads like hell ..with loading times reaching a couple of minutes (!!) what the developers did was put a ring of white balls that you can play with.. um..yea. You can twist them around and other stuff.. keeps you pretty busy while going insane at the same time.

I'll have to get the game back again just to see that, and that mini-game. Maybe the load time is better through an emu? who knows. :cool:
The loading screens in the Namco Museum games for PSX were pretty cool. I did the ole' loading screen trick with Pac-Man, making him dash back and forth constantly. Can't beat the "loading screens" in Ridge Racer and Tekken, nothing says loading screen loving like a quick shooter in-between fighting and racing.
Dont get your hopes up.. even on an emulator (Gens more specifically) the loading times are IDENTICAL. Which means..Quote:

GGX2 on PS2 since it shows the character intros as its loading their frames
Soul Reaver on DC.
Barring that, the sketches-to-color-to-in-game-models in Mark of Kri was pretty damn cool looking. Quite possibly the best part of the game.

Metal Slug for Saturn or for the Neo Geo CD gets my vote-- the gratuitous little monkey is just too much.
I like the less-intrusive ones. Like the loading screen between areas in CV:SotN, where you walk through a short corridor.
