This game is one of the key reasons I'll be picking up a GC GBA Player.
/me = future owner :)
did the first one ever end up getting released in Japan
The JPN version hasn't been released yet.
It's the only reason I'm getting one.Quote:

you know how when the other people went you just looked at a non moving scrnen ...yeah that was boring, it would be nice if you could do something while they made their moves... anything would be nice...
Yeah, I agree.
It's right up there with the desire to see basketweaving in VF4 and walking in PGR.
Good stuff, lunchbox.
*Looks at unopened copy of Advance Wars on bookshelf*
I own way too many damn games. *-neo
*Slaps Neoalphazero*
If your gonna open a game this is the one.
But i did have to stop playing my GBa to avoid eyestrain. cant wait for the GC GBA player.
w00t. Advance Wars = ownz0rz.
/me does the happy dance.
Advance Wars 2 is a must buy for me, I really did enjoy the 1st. :)
At first, I thought
"Eh, I haven't been able to stand playing through a big game of AW lately, but I know I'll end up buying it anyway."
After those screenshots, I thought
"I should probably buy this game."
Now, I'm thinking
"I should go play Advance Wars."
I would import it, considering JPN games come out first, but since Japan hasnt even gotten the first one, I cant wait for the US version. Its too far away..I guess being occupied for my b-day will have to wait
I picked up the original used a month or so back but... there's already a game started. Is there anyway to delete the existing game? I really want to partake but I'm being stubburn and don't want to shell out more money for a game that I essentially own.
Just start a new game.Quote:

Actually, that doesn't work. You have to hold down something like left, plus L, plus select or something on start-up. I found it on GameFaqs...check there.
Yeah, you'd think you could just start a new game... meh...Quote:

Thank ye'.
Well he could do that except it would still have the original owner's name and all of the War Room missions the original owner completed.Quote:

I haven't finished the first yet :(
Get back to it. Great game.
Though, it would have been nice to unlock that cheeseball and his meteor attack. :/
You can.Quote:

Apparently you have to unlock everyone else first (except Nell).
I have everyone, just not him.
i have him, but his meteor attack isn't so great. it does significantly less damage, and you aren't allowed to choose where it strikes.
Here's the cover. Looks sharp. :)

Just finished going through Training Campaign :)
Ready to take the real game now. Feels weird comanding army with this real world war goin on.
Keep going, it will get better as time goes on.
Relax, it's attached, not linked...
lol
Now that's pretty damned funny.
Credit goes to Darque Bishop, he found it on SA.
Last week, I started playing AW again. I think I stopped playing because I, well, sucked.
I pick it up again, and beat the mission on my first try. I'll be playing a lot of this. :)
Definitely going to get it. I probably should finish the last mission on the first one before I do, though...
I'll have it the day it's released. Although I still need to go back and finish everything in the war room for the first game. Guess I have something to do tommorow at work with my new SP.
Anyone hear anything about GC Wars Online? I think I saw a little blurb about in the the rumor section of an EGM months ago.

Are the last missions as hard as the last few levels (and bonus) in Brood War? !
I haven't played Brood War, but I'd guess the very last mission in AW is much harder.Quote:

I've been on the last level of AW for many months, now. :(
The last mission is very very hard
