I found the board from back when these commercials were airing debating how they are fake or whatever. Turns out my memory sucks worse than I thought, there were only 3 and the magnetism one wasn't during an operation it was after a guy gets electrocuted.

Sci fi are covering up a real event after being threatened by the MIB to stop them showing footage of real ufos. Through mind control they've strategically hypnotised them into saying the event never happened. :D
Oh btw speaking of star wars. I thought one of the worst effects they used was the cg explosion in episode 2. But then other fx like cg storm troopers I had no idea were cg. (such inconsistancy. Especially considering the cities in star wars looked ultra fake)
Same thing with blade 2, many fx on that were so seamless (the cg morphing face that opens up sideways in the nightclub fight) that I thought they were real masks instead of cg animations. Yet when you look at spiderman the movie the whole thing sticks out. Why are fx in movies so inconsistant in quality?
