Exile
I wish I never sold my copy of Exile for the Genesis. From what I remember, it was quite a good(although very easy) game.
For those who don't know about Exile, it's a 16-bit Action/RPG series developed by Telenet. The first game was released on Genesis and TurboGrafx CD. The sequel, Exile: Wicked Phenomenon, only came out on TurboGrafx CD.
I haven't played the Turbo versions but the first game has more cut-scenes than the Genesis one. Being a CD game, I imagine the sound is also improved.

Who's a fan of the series? Is Exile 2 as good as the first game?

Well I just finished Exile on the Duo, but it's way too easy. I finished with all stats maxed out in less than 5 hours. I like the 2-D platfoming levels and but I didn't like the character designs in the overhead mode. Nice cut scenes and some good music. This game had some contreversial themes with religion and all, even had little people buring on crossss.
As for the sequel I hear it's insanly difficult to the point of frustration.

I loved part 1, it was alot of fun. Part 2 was harder and I think there was a bug or something that wouldn't let you beat the last monster. I can't be sure but I think I read that. It would confirm for me why I could fight that bastard for an hour straight and never kill him. I do believe it was impossible to beat him, unless I missed something that I had to have to beat it like in Athena for the NES.

I have the first one for Turbo CD. 'Twas one of the first games I got for my Duo. Korian's right, it's really easy. If you have those attack-boosting potions, the bosses go down in like, 4 hits.
However, I am having some trouble with the final boss. Even with 3 bombardments using attack potions (and a bunch of others), dude just didn't want to die. I gave up and moved onto something else, so I haven't played it in a few months.
Overall, I thought it was a decent game, but I own more fun TG16/CD games than this. I liked the characters and story. The voice-overs were pretty decent, too. It was very much on the short side, though, and the graphics weren't anything special. I should boot this up again so I can finish it and get it out of my pile of shame.
