With Zone of the Enders 2 on the shelves, I find myself thinking of some of the other mech-related games available on the many consoles available (PS1, Dreamcast, PS2, Gamecube, N64, XBox).
I've enjoyed ZoE and Mech Assault very much. What are some of your favorites?

Frame Gride is ok, but I suggest a translation guide
for N64 Custom Robo looks very interesting, but I've yet to have a chance to buy it :(
On PC there is Mechwarrior 2/3/4/Mercenaries2/4
On xbox there is Battle Engine Aquila, Mechassault.
On ps2 there is gun griffon blaze and a gundam game or 2. plus zoe and the fast approaching zoe2. and finally there is Armoured Core 2 or 3 or both.
on cube there is...nothing really.
Actually on the cube, along with the ps2 and xbox there is Robotech: Battlecry, but i'm not sure if i'd call that a mech game.
front mission 3 is king of god.

As for Custom Robo, its an ace game, but you really need to know Japanese to get the most out of it. Total franchise material.
edit: yea, Front Mission 3 is killer. I dont know why it didnt get more attention. Its seriously a great game.
Xbox - Phantom Crash and Steel Battlion. Pretty much all you'll ever need.
Steel Battalion, if you can find it...

WOW!!! How many people have played this, let alone remember it enough to mention it? This game is quite incredible! And if you act now, I'm sure you can find it for under $20 clams.Quote:

Shogo is quite good. I bought mine at Wal-Mart for $5 a couple years ago. Maybe they still sell it.
