(itll hit the AES probably at the end of the year and playmore has allready announced a GBA version)

I think it's pretty safe to assume when someone mentions "all three consoles" nowadays, they're referring to PS2, XB and GC.
Neo Geo and DC is dead (in the eyes of the casual gamer and media), and GBA isn't really considered a console, though in actuality it is a console, just a portable one.
And yet the game was officially announced for GBA and NG, and not for anything else.Quote:

Hopefully playmore doesn't make the same mistake that the other guys did and release the game on a console with a small installment base thereby giving it NO chance of catching on with the public that loves this game but have BILLS and can't spend that dough on Cabs and hard to find Neo Geo's.i have always resented SNK for that.

P.S.Falcoon needs to fucking be working for SOMEONE!!
True, I'm surprised that no one has picked him up by now.
Also, true about the SNK console release thing. They were basically shooting themselves in the foot by not making their games more readily available to the public.
That's why I brought it up in the Arcadia issue thread, since people are taking it as fact and I'd really like to know why. The scans that are being circulated aren't full-page in size and no text that I see in them even hint at any console that this game is being developed for. I'd really like some definite answers...Quote:

I also don't believe the GBA version will try to be an arcade 'port', but we'll see.
Wouldn't that mean that there's no such thing as a broken game?Quote:
Nothing should be considered "cheesy". If you can't figure out how to get around something, then you deserve to be thrashed with it (See: roll-canceling, SF2 Guile traps, yaddayadda).
Judging by KoF EX 2, I really wouldn't be surprised. I think that it's possible. As you said, we'll see.Quote:

Note that IGN Cube stole both the scans and most of their news about SvC from Madman's Cafe, except the bit they obviously made up about it coming to all consoles.
Certainly, there's a way around most things and tactics... I'm not the type to cry out "cheap" when people threw me in SF2 or when just kept using Blanka in CvS2...Quote:

But what if you get with a 100% combo ? Or an infinite ? Regardless of how good you are, you'll get hit by one eventually and that's already one undeserved cheap/cheesy loss. Besides, some tactics are easier to overcome, some are just ridiculously effective. Some are just flawed and are really exploting a flaw in the game.
It's not me, but my brother tells me, in Hong Kong, there are people who will just walk away if you choose a certain "cheap-ass trio" in KOF2002... because it's nearly impossible to deal with all of them.
I used to call cheap when people would jump in,feint an attack and throw me when they landed.after a while i just started countering there asses. There are some really hard to deal with tactics out there.and yes some are just not worth the time learning how to beat.but the ones that can will just make you a better player.

P.S.Xcopy bastered must die...come up with your own god damn stratigy...ahem...thank you.
