Gotta say I like that piece of art work. Of course I'm not looking forward to the release at all, unless it makes it to a system other than the Neo. A DC version. Now that would be sweet, and not totally impossible either...

I hope the keep the cast of characters small, and the animation fluent, like AOF3. 24 fighters should be plenty.

I agree. But sadly, in many ways I can't see this being more than an anti-climax (I hope I'm wrong). Post Guilty Gear we've all been clamouring for a high-res 2D Street Fighter, but let's face facts, this game isn't going to have the visual answers. Then the game in all likelihood will play like an SNK game, great for the diehard Neo owners, but for Capcom fans this is a potential nightmare, no doubt how many SNK fans felt about Capcom vs SNK.
It could be a horrible no-win situation.
But hopefully it'll be glorious.
Not bad looking. At least it's probably no more colorful than the game itself. :p

The only question with this one is whether I will be able to hold off on the MVS version long enough for the AES version to be released.

HOLY SHIT!!! I know I'm not exactly an art critic, but I FUCKING LOVE IT!! I love the power and emotion in Ryu and Ken, and the slick coolness of Iori and Kyo. Even the logo scores!
I'm more than amped for this title. I'm not concerned with hi-res sprites, just awesome gameplay. After the (slight) disappointment that was KOF2K1, KOF2K2 really delivers. If Playmore implements some of the features from Match of the Millenium, this could be the blockbuster fighter I've been waiting for since Mark of the Wolves.

you dont have to be impressed, you need to just understand that it's not a cheese game, it's that you dont know whats going on so you label it that way.

It's good to see Playmore finally releasing information on SNK vs Capcom for the MVS. I can't wait to see how it turns out...if it's anywhere near as good as MOTM for the NGPC was, it'll rock hard.
