Another American member of the group was killed on March 16 while trying to stop an Israeli military bulldozer in the Gaza Strip. She fell in front of the machine, which ran over her and then backed up, witnesses said.
Don't know if this has been discussed that much yet and maybe it needs a topic of its own but I was just thinking about stars opposed to the war. Some magazines have started to draw parralels to the 50s and communists under the McCarty era. Just read that only one out of six think that it's right to be against the war openly, thats pretty fucked up not to mention the blacklistings of celebs on some webpages etc.
I don't think it's wrong to boycot a product for whatever reason I want.
Clooney, Sarandon and the rest will get none of my money.
Oh, cheer up you guys. US Intellegence says the fall of Iraq is just days away!
Um, Again! :D
They likely will somehow -_oQuote:

My CS lab professor just said something about a Georgia Bulldogs flag flying above the Iraqi capitol.
...what the fuck is he talking about?
Well, he's totally and completely wrong. Two of the soldiers in the tank batallion that took control of Saddam Hussein's New Presidential Palace graduated from Georgia 10 years apart and they carried a Bulldogs flag with them and displayed it to the live feed afterwards. They did not fly it.Quote:

Ah, okay. He's also kinda senile. He talks about Zoom and going to the moon and stuff. It makes sense for him to be wrong.
Nobody talks about the blacklisting because it isn't happening. Crappy actors/actresses with crappy track records have anti-war views and use the whole "blacklisting" cry as a scapegoat for the fact that their talent wasn't as good as the other guy's.Quote:

And MVS is correct. I have the right to boycott people if their views are against mine. It's a free country. They can say what they want, I can do what I want. It's economic power and my only viable way to send certain people (movie stars, corps) a message.
Note On The Bulldogs Flag: I saw that. It was awesome. "How 'bout them dogs? How 'bout them dogs! Huah!"
