We should move past this issue. All the journalists knew what they were getting into. No sympathy from me.

If you do, it should come up as LINK on your guide. It's channel 9410 on mine. The news broadcasts are complete and unedited.Quote:

I agree, but I don't think it takes away from the responsibility of what has happened.Quote:

That Link channel sounds cool. I wish I had satellite TV... :(
SC
Yep, found it... looks interesting. They're currently showing the rebuilding process of Rwanda after the 800k genocide deal. What a small blip on the radar screen that was :/... I can't remember if I heard about this first or what happened in Sudan.Quote:

Anyway, I'll check it out whenever. Currently, I flip around between Fox, MSNBC, & CSPAN (on occasion) for war coverage. But yeah, might as well know how exactly how we're being demonized by international outlets too ;).
EDIT:
Oh great, they're playing this one up bigtime on Abu Dhabi TV - this LINK chan just broadcasted it. They're like the US is now deliberately targeting news crews, media, etc. etc... "The war has taken a turn for the worse, blah blah. The tank turned suddenly, there were NO gun shots, and it just began firing. So, we were intentionally and knowingly targeted. They tried to kill us all!!! Our colleagues were 'martyred'!!!!" In not so much words, that was the gist of it... So, alright, now I know what feeds folks like Almaci ;). It's the moral equivalency game; we're no different than the Saddam regime... We intentionally target and kill civilians for being civilians, not to mention we target journalists for being anti-American journalists! w00t!!! That'll teach them bastards a lesson... PHEAR US!! The dogs of war hath been unleashed!!!
Well, I encourage us conservatives to watch this channel. There are certainly some things on there I scoff at, but they play some really interesting things, and it will only broaden your base for debating.
Also, go to Borders or Barnes & Noble or whatever and get to reading non-fiction [not saying you don't, but everyone in general should]. Reading is fun-damental. I don't do it enough...
;)

I dunno if I should be laughing or just taking in the good with the bad. They look so American though ;)... In one hand they had some loot, while the other was used to give the cameras a thumbs up.. I was like, "Uh, alrighty there bud". Friggin L.A. Riots or something... The official statement is we're letting'em blow off some steem... whatever :/. Still, can't help but feel the Saddam regime will get the last laugh somehow. I'm waiting for news of a chemical attack myself, so we'll see...
Hey, on another note, the mother of all ironies!!! The bombed Al-Jazeera reporter was a former employee of none other than Fox News!!! OMG DUDE!!!! Talk about defecting to the enemy...
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,83499,00.html
"Ayoub was a long-time employee of Jordan Multimedia Productions, Fox News Channel's local agent in Amman, Jordan. He completed several tours of duty as a Fox News Channel producer in Iraq and Jordan starting in 1998 before joining Al-Jazeera in 1999."
All you Fox News haters probably just lost an ounce of sorrow at his death I bet ;). Almaci was right!! Yer damn straight this unpatriotic traitor was targeted for termination... Uncle Sam payback baby!!! Heh.
Well, you had to know that was going to happen at one point or another...Quote:

Aye, that's my worst nightmare at this point. I don't think it's very likely (assuming they have weapons ready to fire, one wonders how effectively they could use them at this point). Plus, if they were going to use them, one would think they would have used them by now...Quote:

I'm still wondering where all these chem/bio weapons are right now, personally. One would think that we would have some in hand by now if they're laying around out there. I don't much doubt that they have them somewhere, but where are they?
hell yeah - anyone watching the news this minute? Troops in baghdad - the iraqi govt out of power. this is awesome.
Man, I love this shit. This is a great day for Iraq, a great day for Coalition forces, a great day for everyone, for freedom.
Watching it now... There's 2 Iraqis holding up a sign that reads, "GO HOME HUMAN SHIELDS. YOU U.S. WANKERS." Heh.
But, to be cautious, it's far too early to get excited :/. "Cautious optimism" is a good phrase for it.
