You have to fight to get Freedom, any country that lives in a Free nation had to fight for it. If you have an evil dictator holding you down and forcing you to live under his boot, how do you get out from under the boot? Asking, pleading? That just does not work, you have to fight. And in this case the Iraqi people do not have the means to fight, so we fought for it for them.
You can just keep on living in your dark little world.
It doesn't make sense because you can't understand what I'm actually saying. Not forcing someone, but using force. There are several countries that obtained their independence without firing a single shot, but that's beside the point. If the Iraqi's were willing to fight for freedom, they should have done it on their own or at least with a strong country as backup. They were fighting against us and the civilians didn't fight for anyone. We had the Kurds, but that's it. Iraqi's should have rose up on their own and fought against Saddam. Then we could back them up, like the French(omigosh!) did for us during the Revolutionary War. The freedom we give them is what we want for them, not necessarily what they want. Maybe I didn't make that clear and I apologize. Now I'm getting ahead of myself. Who knows what will happen. I guess we'll wait and see.
