Love is wonderful! :)
indeed it is.
fair Harvard, we join in thy jubilant throng...
too many people here talk like that, and it's depressing as hell. So cold and calculated when it comes to affairs of emotion.
Yet, emotion takes over in all aspects social and otherwise. But I'm getting away from the thread.
Love isn't possible if you don't think it is. You make the statement true by thinking it is.
Just as you make love exist by believing in it, just like religion, or any other idea. As such, it exists as something completely different in each man's mind, it has no truth or reality beyond what the individual chooses to believe.
Besides its easier to scorn love than open yourself to its abuses.
I am in love now. ^_^
Yeah, Bahn and I are even thinking about having a kid...
OMFG! IT TURNED BLUE!
whoo hoo. we had a sonic!
Mine was this girl I met in French class when I was 14, in 9th grade. Beautiful (almost scary-attractive), fantastic personality, and a junior, a cheerleader, 17, I think - she knew me from when I was 7 or 8. We spent most of my freshman year talking constantly - I think what allowed me to be so open with her was the fact that I never, in a million years, imagined that she'd ever be interested in me. I was able to, sort of, write her off, since she seemed unreachable.
Anyways, about 6 months into the school year, she started coming onto me pretty heavily, and I had no idea what to do (I was 14 - completely confused). I think I remember reading her poetry I wrote and telling her that I loved her, and she got the idea a few weeks later. Completely crushed me - I kept thinking about her regularly, even through 3 other long-ish relationships.
Something nice, though - I ran into her in a bar a few months ago, and we've been talking a good bit recently. She's sort of become a friend, and I've figured out that we probably wouldn't work together - sort of reassurring, let me slay a little personal demon that had been following me for 8 or 9 years.
A wise man in mind, a weakling and coward in heart.Quote:
