Both are the same price, i could get an 80 gig w/8m buffer or 'Cache' or I could get a 120 gig with the normal 2m cache...
Which is best for Playing games/ Watching movies/ downloading stuff??

Well, I would go with the one with 8mb buffer, since it should have faster loading and data access. 120 gig one is pretty much just a bigger drive.
Yeah, go with the 80 gig. I doubt you can even use the 120 gig anyway, unless you let stuff pile up for months and never deleted unwanted stuff.
hrmm... but i was only gonna dl movies, like alot of them..
So the 80 is the choice i should make?
What does this 'Cache' really do? And is it better then the extra space?
Mind you i plan on getting LOTS of movies
whats the ata and drive speeds of both?
I would get the 120 gig, and partition it up (3x40). One thing I have learned very quickly: You can NEVER have too much hard drive space, especially if you're into downloading movies and what not.
Well, it's pretty much speed vs storage space. The 80gb will perform a little faster. Personally, I'd get the 120 gig. Space is keen.
im just wondering if the 120gig is a 5400rpm drive......
hell, why not get both? one can be your media drive, the other your gaming drive. best of both worlds!
Get the 120 for storage only, run your os drive with 2 of those 8mb cache drives in raid 0 and youll be in heaven..
