Good 'first date' locations

Yeah, are movies appropriate or played out?

Is a 'free date' at a park or beach a cheap-ass thing or a 'romantic' thing?

A date at the park can be considered romantic, but that kinda varies from girl-to-girl. A movie date is a classic, and as long as you pick the right flick, and aren't cheap, you should be fine. A nice dinner date could also work.

Gamestop. She'll love you for it. Make sure to argue with the guy at the counter about how x system is better than y system. Spend all your money on DOAX and go to Dennys afterwards. Have her pay. She'll feel empowered and will also be impressed at your refined tastes in electronic entertainment and debateing skills.

Yes, Hero, don't be cheap on the first date out. The whole walk in the park or on the beach thing would work better if you spent a little money first: by taking her to a midway/amusement park or a nice restaurant first.

Then a nice stroll through the park or on the beach also makes sense afterward in the "work off the calories" sense, and is a good way to wind up the evening. The dichotomy between being in a crowded or semi-crowded restaurant then being alone out on the park/beach usually works pretty well. Gotta keep things balanced. :)

Honestly movies are lame and generic. Pick something else, preferably something you know or are pretty damned certian she likes to do.

If all else fails I suggest a great resturant and don't be cheap asshole! ..and bring a doggie bag back, i like chicken fried steak
