What's your primary mode of transportation?
I've taken to biking, personally, as I have no real use for a car in the city I'm in.
How about ya'll?

Walking and public transportion. I have no intention of ever owning a car.
I walk, but soon I'll be getting my license so I can drive everywhere and become a fat slob from not getting excercise. :chick:
I live in an area were you can only get around with a car, or pay over inflated taxi prices.
Can't afford a car, so I bus it.
on campus I walk, off I scoot. Its funny too because I have serious road rage.
Bus to school but car to work.
I walk everywhere I go and sometimes I take the bus. It saves me an assload of money, since I don't have to pay gas or insurance, or have to pay out the ass when my car breaks down. Soon I'll have to stop avoiding getting a license, but I'll put it off as long as possible.
I drive everywhere in my car....most stuff is too far to walk to.
I drive. It's part of my job during the work week since I do on-site work (not all clients have fast connections or PC Anywhere/Timbuktu). Plus, driving is nice around here.
Prefer to walk wherever possible, but as I live in a rural area, my job is twenty miles away as is the nearest town with decent shops, so I must drive my fine automobile.
I never want to own or drive a vehicle, which is to say I don't own or drive a vehicle. I shamelessly take rides from my parents - but come fall, I'll have to go back to the old People Mover with the crazies. If it was consistently warmer here, and I wasn't outside of the city, it'd definitely be mostly biking.
Since work is about 10 feet away, I walk to work. I've yet to get a driver's liscence, but I'd like to so I don't have to co-ordinate with my friends every time I want to go somewhere.
i walk where i can, my job is only a few minutes jog from where i live, so its easy that way, so i only really drive for dates and to go to the malls.
Public Transportation (or walking)! Best thing ever. I am so happy to be car free these days. It's much cheaper, more convenient, better for the enviornment, and does not contribute to the current "world problems".
When I lived in the suburbs in NJ it would have been practically impossible to go car-free. But living in a city now makes it a wonderful reality. I have a main city bus stop outside my flat and the Métro is 2 blocks away.
If I ever move it will be to Europe, which has even better mass transit, not just in cities but between them. :)
On a scooter?! That's got to be one of the most funny images I've ever imagined! :DQuote:

i drive. the suburbs are not mass transit friendly, plus i drive 100+ miles away from at least once a month, if not more.
