It started snowing here on April Fool's Day.
Stupid weather jokes.
yesterday i woke up, and i saw big ass snow flakes.. i was like what the hell.. dit mt. Rainer finally blow its top of... but no.. it was snow..
Three days before my first birthday (April 29th, 1983), we had tornadoes. On my birthday, we had a blizzard.
I love Minnesota weather.
Jimmy, you're younger than my girlfriend! Wow. I had a picture of you being older than me for some reason.
That's crazy. So you didn't even experience any of Mr. Carter's term. Hehe. =)
I snowed just 30 minutes from where I live...I heard it was pretty deep. They even got out of school.
Hey now, I'm not that young. I'll be 21 at the end of the month. Drinkin' age.Quote:

And no, I thankfully didn't have to experience Mr. Carter's "work". But I did get to see the Twins win their first world series!
1987? Frankie? That followed 1986, one of my favorite baseball years. *cough*Buckner*cough*
What year was Kirby? '89?
Wouldnt you be 20 yrs old and not 21?Quote:

No. Born in '82. So first birthday would be in '83.Quote:

Oh, so you are older than the wifey. She won't be 21 until the end of September.
Wow, what age did you two get married at?
EDIT: Wait.... the heck? Thought it was your girlfriend? I'm confused now.
Hehe. We were betrothed at 13.
Nah, I just call her "the wife" sometimes. She's my girlfriend, but I like to spice up my vocabulary instead of saying the same thing every time. =)

:wtf:
Did you get married between posts, or did you just tell us too much...?
;)
*Edit*
Damnit, you beat me to it.
Ahh, righto, righto.Quote:

Actually, if you got married today, you'd be the same age as my parents when they married. Just some... you know, useless information for ya.
As far as snow in April goes. Welcome to the wonderful world of Nebraska weather. They say if you don't like the weather, wait an hour. In Nebraska that's taken literally. I've actually seen it snow, almost to the point of it being a blizzard and temps well into the teens or lower. The next day it was in the mid 70's. Now tell me that isn't fucked up.
I drove through Nebraska last May, going to E3. It seems you are from Kearney. Your town had one of the few radio stations we could pick up the entire trip through Nebraska.Quote:

My guess would be 105.9, or as we like to call it around here Hits 1 through 6. Either that or 101.5, the rock station. Hopefully you liked Nebraska. In case you're going to E3 again this year, drop me a line. Also, Grand Island has a decent arcade just off of I80 at the giant truck stop. Played my first game of Police 911 and some cell shaded motorcycle game there, Wild Riders?
At least it's just snow and not fuckin' -20C weather. It was that cold last night when I walked home. -20C and April simply don't go together. :chick:
Well we're in the middle of an ice storm here. Lovely for driving, I tell you!
Nebraska was a bit hard to drive through in May because there weren't a lot of plants to see at the time. But the people were plenty nice. And normal, too. When you get deep into Wyoming... the people get a bit weird.Quote:

I won't be driving to E3 this year, but definitely next year. If you plan on going, buzz me. Maybe we can work something out then.
Yesterday I woke up and went to my car. It was nice to see ice an inch thick covering my car. I love Michigan weather.
There's nothing like a 70 degree drop in temp over 2 or 3 days to put you in a pissy mood. This past week, say Wednesday or Thursday, it was in the mid to high 80's! It even broke records. Today, Saturday, it's snowing. That is all sorts of messed up.
Today's weather was a total piece of shit.
Try 34 degrees with some nasty winds and sickly gray overcast skies. With windchill it felt like 23. It looked so ugly out there today that I just wanted to pull a blind down to block out the dreariness.
No more snow or ice, thankfully. At least I hope there won't be any more...
