Well, most Germans I know hate Heineken (which should tell the "All German Beer Is 1337" people something) and Corona is created by Mexican farm workers pissing into a tubs that Grupo Modelo Breweries left lying out there by the farms, so I wouldn't say that you'd have to go very far to beat out either of those beers...

I can't really think of too many mass-produced beers that I really enjoy. Killian's Irish Red is okay, as is Woodchuck Cider (yeah, not beer, I know). In a pinch, I usually drink Coors just because every place here has it.

But I always prefer porters and stouts, and those aren't typically mass produced.

I've never drank, but the British guy at work says that Summit is pretty good.

Drinking Coors makes me feel like a Republican, but I don't like the taste much. I've never had Summit - but when I said mass-market, what I meant were the macrobreweries - the huge, huge domestics.

Heineken tastes like piss.

Special X or Cabana Cervesa I think has Heineken beaten for skunkiest beers. Rolling Rock IMO is the *worst* popular beer, no flavor, no character, no nothing. Only 1 more year and I can actually drink beer ;)

Beer perfection=Bush beer(no relation)

Bush beer is the heaviest beer in the world at more then 18 degrees.
Its brewed in belgium for well over a century and ages naturally with triple fermentation(metal open cauldrons, after that in big vats and final fermentation inside the bottle).
You dont know what FULL BODIED means until youve had a bush(no pun intended)

Yeah, I've heard the name, but haven't as yet seen it in the middle of this beerlover's wasteland of taste. I personally like german wheat beers the best, and largely stay away from the premium. My test of whether a beer is quality is to try one warm after I get it home, if the flavor is good at room temperature I think it shows it has enough real flavor. Whereas the pilsners have to be served very cold to hind their underlying lack of flavor. Just my weird little opinion :)

Youre oppinion is kinda correct.
For the artisinal beers if you order one in Belgium they will ask you if you want one cold or from the tab behind the bartender where they are kept at room temprature.

Agreed... Rolling Rock sucks, but its the best beer in the world to drink at punk rock clubs.
