And yeah, Tork is probably going to kill everything else in the genre, but there's still room for another cool game.
someone wanna fill me in on this one? i saw some movies a while back, and saw that picture that was posted, and this game still doesn't look like anything too good.
has their been some recent developments that make the game that better or something? someone please fill me in.

I... I... don't even know what to say. Suffice it to say I strongly disagree.
i know Naka really focuses on gameplay flow, and with NiGHTS, they did a good job with it, the game had a pretty nice style, and great music, but there just wasn't really any gameplay there for them to "flow". same thing happen to Wind Waker, well, aside from that flow stuff, the games just lack fun gameplay. and if it's not fun, what's the point?
that's the way i see it atleast. style can only take a game so far if you ask me. graphically, sure, but not gameplay.

Ohshima left. Kodama went on to Overworks. No one ever talks about Yasuhara(Carol Yas) any more even though most video game magazines declared him the Sonic creator before Naka's name was well-known. He was credited as Game Planner for Sonic 1 and Director for some of the sequels. Anyone know his history? I assume he started in 8-bit games like most of Sonic Team.
Out of big name people, that leaves Naka and Toyoda.
And Sonic, NiGHTS and even Burning Rangers all are far superior to Klonoa.
no way. although they're completely different games, i had much more fun playing any Klonoa game then any Sonic game, 1&2 were the last good things in the series (never played CD, but i'd imagine it's good, both Adventure games were only fun during the little bit of Sonic portions. the rest of the game wasn't anything special. the games are much more fun when it's only Sonic. 1&2 were good games, but nothing that special).
and im only talking Sonic Team games here. Sonic Pocket Adventure was a great game though, i think that's easily better then anything Sonic Team has done with the series after Sonic 1, 2, and CD (assuming it's as good as everyone says it is).
haven't touched Burning Rangers. only thing i know about that is that it's an action game, and im not even 70% sure about that.
and i was wondering were all their talent went to, cause they sure as hell didn't go to Artoon. i still give Sonic Team a lot of credit for ChuChu and PSO though, love those games.

i agree. the Sonic Adventure games are cool for the 30( of the game that you play as Sonic, but everything else is just about complete garbage. i think the only time i had fun with a side character was tails in Sonic Adventure 2. what the hell was Sonic Team thinking?
i really hope the next Sonic game is strictly Sonic, there's no fuckin need for Knuckles, that fuckin blue cat, or any other side characters. the series became worthless after 1&2 (and like i said, i'd image CD).
also, NiGHTS has to be by far one of the most rated games amoung the people at TNL. i know most of you guys are all super Sega fanboys, but c'mon.
