Just me, or really stupid AIM profiles/away messages?
Ever been online, talking to a friend, obtaining an IP to join a game you enjoy playing? You see someone log on to AIM, now we all have people on the list we dont talk to, yet you know who it is.
Its on of those "popular" people who are white and listen to rap music(no offense and dont go quoting me eh?). They put an away message up and out of curiosity you take a gander at their profile.
(If I was home I would get an exact quote of what some people have, but Im not home and nobody is online at school)
You see that they have some crap about life, lessons, music lyrics, other crap. WTF is this, getting stuff off of firehotquotes.com (think my sister uses that one) does not make you unique. Come up with your own shit if anything at all.
Thats just the profile, then the away message will say something like: "Im around/sleeping/taking a shower/etc."
Who gives... we dont need to know what your doing every minute of your useless day and life.
Then you have my friend who has something like: "People waste their time reading this, so go do something." If the asian kid who thinks hes so very sly had any common sense, he wasted his time typing that eh?
I dont have a profile because theres no need for it, if Im doing something else I usually close Trillian because thats what I use not AIM. When I do use an away message its just something normal like:
"Im playing Baldurs Gate 2 Shadows of Amn because Im a geek ass bitch and I can." Even thats when Im waiting for someone to get online because they wanna do something.
Anyone else ever notice this crap, or is it just small town Ohio white people who wish they were black that think life is a joke?
