I'd advise you to go ahead and include Zero Gunner 2 in the order. You don't know how lucky you are that it's been re-released at a lower price. Later on it'll be much harder to find than Bangai-O so I'd even leave out Bangai-O and get it later if you don't want to spend too much right now. And I definitely wouldn't call Bangai-O a shoot'em up in the traditional sense.

Chuck Night Raid on the list. I just got it, and it's pretty slick. Not Mars MAtrix good, but Gigawing good. Still working on how to use that claw thing right, though.

I just started playing Garrega all over again. I'm actually enjoying it this time.w00t!

How good? Like "$70 on eBay" good. Or "HELL NO! You can find it cheaper" good?

Well, I looked for Zero Gunner 2 on Video Game Depot and they didn't seem to have it. It's a Dreamcast game, right?

Get DDP doj and MLF2 first... as for the price, it depends. How big is your shooter library?

Yeah, its a Dreamcast game...despite the fact that it is very easy it is one of my favorites. Keep looking for it because I think it is definitely a must have game.

For some reason, I haven't been able to get past level 3 on Ikaruga yet either. It seems like every time I play the game I get exactly one inch further in level 3 then I die! Actually, I finally got to the boss on level 3 last time. I shall try again later...

Trust me though...if you can get to level 3 on Ikaruga then you should be able to beat Zero Gunner 2 with your eyes closed :) Thats not really a bad thing though, because its still a great game. I think its worth tracking down.
