Agreed. I was disappointed when I saw that as well. I want an Xbox with dino skin textures on it. It'd be to scale even! :p

So they PRINTED and new box.. cardboard eh? ... they could have done something to the hardware, at least.

i want a smaller, more stylish xbox... or an X-boxS heh.. they redesigned the controller pretty fast..

So maybe at E3 they will show something.

It wasn't really a "redesign" so much as they simply decided to bring the Japanese market controller ( co-designed with Tecmo ) to the US, kinda like what happened with the Saturn back in the day.

it's alright but I'm still partial to the elegant Panzer Dragoon Orta box and the console looks fucking sexy as hell. The box was simple but the console......gives me shivers.

Yes I'm over dramatizing but it's so goddamn sexy :)

I think it's ugly. The "best system box ever" was the red and white Japanese Saturn one.

From what I have read, it was the Lead Designer at UGA who designed the S. Not Tecmo, though there is always reason to belive they were consulted. But I read that in an interview with Smilebit in either Play or some other mag.
