The average is actually around 22, from what I have seen. We have many posters in their mid-to-late thirties and at least one guy in his mid-fifties. It's a great mix, especially because so many of us started gaming in the 8-bit generation or earlier.
Really now - would you like it here as much if the place were overrun with kids? There are a trillion day care centers disguised as message boards all around the Web. But here, our younger members are amazing. Tones, Pitch, Rick, and others are here because the love gaming (and "STFU Newbie" pictures), not because our hobby is for kids.
