I just read the IGN review and it sounds awesome. I just gotta wait for Gamefly to send it to me. I hope to have it by Friday.

Mine has already been shipped and will be here tomorrow. I can't wait X___X

Controls for the GCN were good. I didn't have any problems. You have to use the Z button as a modifier. I've never played an SSX title before, but I was pulling off tricks very easily with the GCN pad.

The XBOX version, like I posted earlier in the thread uses the Y+B buttons along with L+R triggers. My brother was trying the XBOX version, and no problems with the tricks. The only thing I didn't notice was if he used the Black and White buttons for anything. When he gets home from work I'll ask him about that and post an update.

PS2 version has very nice graphics. When you see all three running side-by-side, it easily gets overshadowed, but for PS2 only players, it looks great. The game was definately made for this pad, as it is the best of the three, but like I said earlier, adjusting to the XBOX and GCN control scheme is very easy, even for a newcomer.

I'd love to get this game, but my financial difficulties are too much at this point. Anyone picking up this game, please post impressions as soon as you can.

just picked it up. quick impressions: after 15 minutes, ssx3 is clearly 893601238x better than the other two games. i like its somewhat restrained style (as in character and course design,), especially when compared to tricky. it's also *much bigger. almost overwhelmingly so.

seems to have a nice soundtrack, too.

I'd like to know this too. I got a magicbox converter thats 25 at lik-sang. I think there are cheaper ones around, do a search.

ep, did you pick up the XBOX version? Pretty game, eh?

no, i got the ps2 version for the controls and online mode. it still looks good, though. markedly better than the other games.

anyway, i just ordered an xbox vga adapter (x2vga,) so i'll probably pick up a used copy of the xbox version at some point.
