PSO - Challenge Mode?

Is anyone familiar with the Challenge Mode aspect of PSO? I've asked a few people about trying that mode out, but the usual responses are;

1. Man, it's stupid. You run through a bunch of levels and get crap in return.

2. I'm not bothering with that mode dude. It's hard and you can't finish it fast.

3. I think it's like battle mode dude.

Since the mode requires two or more people and next to no one has Challenge Mode games going (the ones that are open are always in play), I have had little luck seeing what this mode has to offer.

Does anyoe here feel like trying (or will be available to try) the C-Mode later this evening (about 5PM central)?

Thanks. I'm out of work at about 3PM C, so I should be on about 4:30-5 PM. Character is a RAmarl named "Ra.De".

I'm game. it's not too hard to find me on pso.

Okay. What would be a better class to use for C-Mode, RAmarl or FOnewearl? I'm guessing RAmarl since they start off with a gun.

challenge mode is a royal pain, but its worth it, if you get a respectable time you can make your own super weapon. im waiting for bk to get on, as he knows how to do the c-mode correctly. c-mode is a bitch for forces,as the items are randon, so we may be totally resta-les for the game, and as a result getting our asses kicked playing melee fighting. you really shoudl ahev 4 guys going,and try to learn the areas well, because you need speed to get the mega weps. bk can tell you the rest...i hate c-mode, but to get a superpowered scythe, ill deal.

Logging on in about 10 minutes. I just have to figure out how to add people to the friends list. I don't see that option in the game at all. I'll use my RAmarl character "Ra.De".

Go to chat - guild cards - my card - send card.

Forces are indeed a bitch to play with, but if you decide to use a hunter class, they can be effecive, but keeping out of hit-range is as important as timing the correct attacks together (male: normal-strong-strong female: normal-strong repeat)
