Better Than Mom's?

my mom makes the best lasagna in the world... well atleast it has more meat that others... tasty...

switch mom with grandmother, and you have my situation, i dont know too many dishes that dont taste better when she makes them. I am a good cook, but i cant get that taste out of things. plus, one good thing about having someone who lived through the depression, they cook for 4 when there are 2.

I can't think of anything that Mom cooked that tasted anything less than great. But she makes the best Pasta and Lasanga around speaking of which that's what I'm having tonight. ohhhhh joy.

My mom makes the absolute best Fried Dumplin(g)s and Salt Fish. I could live off that shit.
