Yeah, most of the Simpsons games are shit. Although, I really did enjoy Bart vs. the Space Mutants on the NES. I liked that game a lot when it came out. I would have to say thats my favorite Simpsons game.............Along with the arcade game of course.
I honestly dont see cel shading as something that would compliment a Simpsons game. Anime style it does well, because anime has a similer type of shading. Simpons doesn't really have that.
I imagine something more like Parappa the Rappa style graphics for a cool Simpsons game.

Actually Road Rage DOES have cell shading. Only its very subtle. So they may not have intended to do it. And I think Simpsons Wrestling had something like it as well. But dont quote me on that last on.
