I was wondering if anyone saw this new show "most extreme elimination challenge" on tnn. This show is full of cheesy voice overs, and lots of penis jokes.
The show consists of a bunch of korean people trying to do stupid things and getting hurt. Some guy tried to do a back flip and landed on his neck, is this stuff real? The announcers almost make it unbearable, but some of the people are funny. I was just wondering if anyone knew this if this was real or not?
Korean? If I'm not mistaken, this is one of Japanese renaissance man Takeshi Kitano's old game shows dubbed horribly into English. And what do you mean by "real"?

Yes this show is for real... but that doesn't stop it from being one of the dummest things on TV...
The Japanese have some crazy game shows...I think it's pretty funny, but, it would greatly improved if they just left the original Japanese sound in there...the "humor" dub is unbearably retarded, and clearly caters to the same degenerates that would generally be watching TNN.
Seriously, my girlfriend and I were just flipping through channels and noticed the Japanese game show, which I'd seen before through some tapes from Japan...however, the average commercials and promos on that station totally target the bottom of the barrel...it seems to assume it's viewers are sex-crazed, uneducated, redneck, teenage boys...anyway, rant over, but I'm not sure it's worth watching the show if you have to put up with the crappy ads and juvenile dub.
Oh that's nothing, the ads and shitty shows are still better than their new name (coming in June)... SPIKE TV!

I watched it last night.
Thought it was hilarious.
Some of the dubbing was actually kinda funny too.
It's funny because they get hurt and I don't know them, hee hee.
I love this show, it's so damn funny. Weird dumbing at times but every so often they get some good lines in. I wish they would just play new episodes. I'd like to see a different game show per season. That would keep it interesting.
