I ummm do that. I charge $6 for shipping and it costs $2. But I package professionally and with confirmation. Not no box and no packaging. There are some instances where I ship priority, if I feel there is a need. The reason why is because it sellers make a little more on shipping. But hey, bidders dont complain if they get their items on a timely matter. Like if items are going for $0.01...sellers will charge like $5.95-6.95 on shipping (cellphone accessories)

FYI guys...NCS charges $5.00 for Priority Mail. You have to ask them to ship it that way in the comments section however. Best packaging online too.

Yeah, whenever I order from NCS I always request it sent by Priority Mail. I've sent and received hundreds of packages through USPS over the years and have only twice had problems with them. Yes, if by chance something DOES get lost or damaged it's insane collecting the insurance on it, but considering 99.5% of the packages I've sent/recieved through them arrive fine, I generally take my chances. They are the cheapest and second-most reliable package service.

Packages, for me at least, only seem to get damaged with UPS if you have it sent ground. For the love of all that is holy, NEVER USE UPS GROUND SHIPPING! They will almost certainly f-up your package, your literally rolling the dice with them. However, when I have stuff sent 2nd day air or overnight, it usually arrives intact. But their delivery habits are awful, they arrive at various different times. If you live in a decent apartment complex they'll bring it to the office and generally you'll be fine, but if you live in a house they'll leave the package on our front door where it is a prime target to be stolen. Price is middle of the pack, but they are the least-reliable shipper.

FedEx is the best and most reliable shipper, I've never sent/received a package through them that arrived damaged in the least, they are supremely reliable. Unfortunately they are also the most expensive, but you get what you pay for with the best overall service.

Reliability 2nd 3rd 1st


I usually go USPS with all-purpose shipping, cheap and very reliable. I use FedEx only if it ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY HAS TO GET THERE ON TIME, IN PRISTINE CONDITION, NOMATTER THE COST! And I avoid UPS whenever I can.

Yes, I hate UPS too, except for the times when they can leave packages without asking for the signature. Otherwise its REALLY pain in the ass to retrieve the package from them. I dont worry about package being stolen though, since they either put them behind storm door, or in the mail box. Plus DJ comes from school earlier, and brings those into the house.

I've been sending and recieving ALOT of packages with USPS and NEVER had a problem with them. At least not yet, and I hope it stays that way.

If you HAVE to ship USPS and you own a small business, then registered mail is the only way to go (and it's expensive).

Melf: I understand what you're saying (and the fact that PR is a U.S. territory makes that whole invoice/duty thing VERY curious) and agree that for you UPS is a bad option. I'm saying, from a small business point of view, it's very difficult to recover from the many people who claim that they don't receive something who actually do. The credit card companies are always on the customers side, regardless of who is right or wrong.

You are an ass then. I make almost my entire living from buying, selling and shipping video games. I'm proud to say that I've never engaged in any bullshit shenanigans like over taxing on shipping for no reason. If I want my paypal fees paid for I demand that from my customer before the transaction is made. Just like any standup guy would.

I agree with you that it sucks from the business side. I guess UPS would be better for shipping from your side. Living where I do though, I've had nothing but bad experiences with them so I'm loathe to use them.
