Yee haw!
PW64 kicked some serious booty. Hopefully F5 can continue Paradigm's good work.
I'll be surprised if it makes any kind of true showing at E3.
Despite my lukewarm feelings toward Nintendo in general, I always sort of enjoyed Pilotwings. The N64 rev was kind of unique, and relaxing (if a little on the slow and occasionally boring side, as well).
Good news, but I suspect the details are a ways off.
Well after seeing what F5 is doing with Rogue Squadren 3 (a.k.a. the game with the most impressive in game graphics ever) in the new issue of EGM, I have rather high hopes for this. I would love to jet around in a Gyrocopter and ride the Wind Currents with a Hang Glider again, good stuff.
Awesome. I'm a huge fan of both Pilotwings games, and a GC game should be amazing.
ROGUE! ROGUE! ROGUE, damnit!Quote:
Clash-Master must die for saying...
Rouge Squadren
I thought PW64 was pretty fun. It was pretty cool to just fly around the areas. I remember if you flew into Marios face I believe it was it would to into Wario or something like that. One early 64 game I really want to see come back is Blast Corps. That game was amazing.
Stop tweaking out.Quote:

i'd rather have Nintendo work on this.
still, hopefully Factor 5 can keep that feeling that the series has always had.
I looooooooooooove Pilotwings!
But I dunno how I feel about a different developer handling it.
I really didn't like Rogue Squadren on GC, so to say I'm excited and sad about this news is an understatement.
I still wanted a new NCL Pilotwings, but I'm very open to this.
64 was a fun ass game, with better graphics and any the same play mechanics, this should be a great game as well...
nah, its rouge now. It stars a new group of sassy pilots~Quote:

cool! I hope we get some multiplayer thing going (air racing mainly)
So, lets see...
Mario Kart is NST
1080 2 is NST
Pilotwings Cubed is Factor 5
Metroid Prime 2 is Retro
Kirby Air Ride is HAL
F-Zero is some division at Sega
What the fuck is EAD working on? Im not saying that any of these companies aren't capable, but it seems strange that pretty much ALL of Nintendo's franchises are being handled by, well, not-EAD. All EAD has been doing is Mario Sunshine (blah), Pikmin (blah), Wind Waker (Ill give them that), etc. Kinda strange, is it not?
Leave Mark Hammil out of this. :DQuote:

I was kind of waiting for this, I missed out on both the SNES and N64 Pilot Wings, but this one I intend to get.
Factor 5 seems like a good choice. They seem to know the Cube inside and out. Personally I think Pilotwings 64 was a wee tiny bit of a let down. I look forward to a Cube game. BOO AND YAH!

Just blind ass guesses.
Isn't EAD where Miyamoto roams about? If so then Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, also know as BIG games.
pilotwings always bored me. i wished the game allowed me to blow stuff up. i don't think a pilotwings game would sell too well now. bad idea, nintendo!
Could't you shoot missles with the Gyrocopter in PW64?
who knows? i never played it.
Awesome, I loved the SNES Pilotwings but I didn't get to play the 64 version. Hopefull it'll keep that lax mood while still beeing fun as hell.
is pilotwings the game where you take pictures of crap?
The cannon in the 64 game was always fun IMO.
