I've only played the demo, and thought it was pretty good. And I loved the first one on Dreamcast.
The Xbox version might as well be called Airforce Delta 1.1, because the reviews I read, said the game was a slight upgrade of the Dreamcast version with an added level.
The game sucks anyway, so people with the original should sell, and those that haven't played it should NOT be searching it out.
I have the original, but I went through hell to get it so I'm keepin' it.
Oh it's not that bad. It's no Ace Combat 4, but its sure as hell not horrible. Just tedious alot of the time. Sort of gives you the feeling you are actually at war.
And the twin bee was in it if you are talking about a super plane that looked like it was a super squashed 737 with 1000 missiles.
Shortselling bastards just started flooding eBay with AFDS copies to ship in a week or so...one freaking day before my auction ends.
Oh well, at least I'll get $46 for it.
I was pretty sure that and the Vic Viper-clone were import-only ships.Quote:

They were import only which totally bites. Since when does ANY Japanese Xbox game deserve more attention than it's American version? It seems backwards to me... pandering to the 17 people who bought it there versus the millions here.

It's because of subsection (b) of Japan's "Western Gamers Get Fucked by Us" Act.
Quote:
(a) All games must be released in Japan first, except as indicated by (b) and (c).
(b) All games released in the West before a Japanese release must be somehow upgraded before releasing in Japan, and these upgrades must not be released in any form in the West.
(c) If a game is released in Japan first but is somehow upgraded before releasing in the West, it must somehow be upgraded further and be released again in Japan, and these additional upgrades must not be released in any form in the West.
If I wasn't so mad at you, burg, I would laugh! Arg!!!
