My first question is do you ever actualy get to control Lucia in battle? Second, about how long is the game? Third, is Lunar legends for the GAB Lunar, Lunar 2, or a whole new Lunar?
I picked up Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete yesterday and so far, I'm loving it. The animation is great and I love the anime cut scenes. The story so far is pretty good and the battle style is interesting.
1. No, you don't, but her AI is usually amazingly good, and she pretty much almost always does what you would want her to do.
2. Been awhile since I've played it, but I think it took most people 25-40 hours to run through the game, depending on how many of the sidequests you take up on, and there are quite a few...
3. It is a remake of the original Lunar. The combat system isn't as complex and fun as the original 2 were, but it is kind of cool seeing yet another twist on the classic formula, with some interesting new twists, but if you've ever run through Silver Star or Silver Star Story, you know how it ultimately plays out.
Hopefully Lucia's AI will get better, casue for the moment all she does is raise her defence. Oh well, the game is still great.
EDIT: I was just wondering, is there a way toi view the cut scenes after you beat the game?
theres playstation movie viewers out there somewhere....dont feel like checking my bookmarks atm. but just using the system and the game, no, you cant just view the cutscenes.
Both are great games. In fact, Lunar 1 is my fav game of all time. I forget about Lunar 2, but in Lunar 1 you could get the mirror to watch all the cutscenes. Lunar Legends isn't as good since their are no voices. It's like Diet Lunar. But good job with the buy. Most of my friends see the price and say forget it.

That is very very wrong. In BOTH Lunar games on the Playstation there are items which you can obtain to go back and watch the movies in the game. I have done it in both of them so I know it can be done. I felt like watching one of the movies in L2 the other day so I just popped it in there and watched it from my final save in the game.Quote:

I hope to be picking up Lunar:SSSC tomorrow off of ebay. I dont have a credit card and my mom doesnt like using it hers online but I might be able to convince her to do it. i noticed several used copies of it for under $20 and a few over.

yes there are movie viewers for the PC and they are very nice, and I'm sure you were right about not being able to watch them in the original versions...I don't have them so I wouldn't know about that.
