Critical Overdrive did an "I'm new here" thread (I think), and he survived. I don't mind those threads, I figure let the noobs get it out of their system.
Too bad they don't have an ignore feature that blocks out threads that have the phrase "I'm new here" in the title.
We do. It's called self-restraint.
I never have and never will post a "Hi, I'm new" or a "Please allow me to introduce myself" thread on any board. That's just dumb.
Noobs should realize that they are not their post count.
Since when?Quote:

Yeah, not many of us use it (though it has saved me from witnessing the famed tubegirl links that have appeared in FC).Quote:

Tubegirl? I've missed something here, haven't I? It's almost, but not quite, enough to make me take a look at that part of the board.
Showed up post-GameGo, started posting. It never once occured to me to start introducing myself. It seems kind of useless to jump up and say hi, when I could just start talking instead. Besides, I can't imagine how it would matter.

It was tubgirl, not tubegirl.
When I showed up at GameGo! (right when the board opened I think...) I never made a newbie thread. The closest thing I ever did was announce my name change from KRSking to this one.
