I don't know if it is hard to find, but don't forget to pick up Shadow Hearts. I still think its one of the best games I bought last year...after playing it I was almost ashamed of myself for not buying it when it first came out.

This is what I'm doing lately too, trying to get the little known, quirky PS2 games that will probably become hard to find soon. I really suggest Okage: Shadow King, for one. Wonderful game. Shadow of Destiny is also quite good. Other games that I haven't picked up yet, but should quickly fall under this catagory (well, ones not mentioned yet): Dual Hearts, Jade Cocoon 2, Ring of Red, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 7, Sky Oddysee, Lethal Skies, Dynasty Tactics.
Legaia 2 is another one that might be hard to come by in time.
Yes, Shadow Hearts make a great pic. Its a very underrated game, and its fairly cheap, if you can find it, and totally worth the money.Quote:

Everyone's mentioned my picks, so I guess it's just a recap of what others have said-
Dynasty Tactics
Gitaroo Man ($20 at Circuit City)
Shadow Hearts
Okage
Rez
Suikoden 3
Dual Hearts
Keep in mind the difference between rare and anyone actually caring. If you're looking to make a buck on them it doesn't matter how rare they are, I can't imagine Dual Hearts ever being a sought-after game. Hell, try finding a copy of Aqua-Aqua, for another example.

Man we cleared like 15 copies of that game at my work for like 5 bux canadian.Quote:
Indeed... he certainly does. Fantavision can be a hard game to find as well.
Mad Meistro, while still readily available, will be one of those hard to find titles and for $12 at Target, it can't be a bad buy.
As someone else has already mentioned, Ring of Red. I've been meaning to pick up this title, but I've spent my money elsewhere.
Shadows of Destiny is a really enjoyable adventure game with a really well though out time travel story--also I've been playing a lot of Robot Alchemic Drive lately and that's bound to dissapear off the face of the earth.
I'm sorry, but Tyler_Durden that post was hilarious.
Gah! I was just looking for Gradius III & IV a few days ago :(Quote:

Amplitude is a blast online. It gets really competitive with the power ups and all. Although if I didn't have a network adapter, I wouldn't have bothered. The offline mode gets boring and it's just IIDX on tracks with horrible controls (I still don't like the shoulder button deal). But the stuff that gets thrown into multiplayer really makes it shine.
And yes, I hated Frequency :) I just spend all day playing Amplitude though.....No sign of Chux =\
