Mario Kart: Double Dash

ok, first things first. they're playing footage of the game on CNN, so im just waiting for someone to put it up online, which will be shortly, so sorry if i got everyones hopes up. just wait a few minutes.

well, some of those levels look huge. oh, and at the beginning of the race, the second character you choose pushes the kart.

Man that looks like total shit :( Tracks are too wide, two man karts look seriously daft and the graphics are appalling. I'm losing confidence rapidly, are EAD making it?

NST is making it.

also, i think it's really stupid to judge the game from what are easily the worse pictures of the game ever.

with no good reason. every racing game that NST has made so far has been nothing less then excellent.

Those pictures look a bit low quality, so I'm sure the graphics are way better then those picures make them out to be. And I think the 2 man kart thing could work. We'll just have to wait until the footage.

Not a fan. I thought WR:BS sucked compared to the original and 1080 2 looks shockingly bad. Basically i'd rather EAD were doing it instead of fucking around with things like Pikmin 2.

im with you there, but i have no doubt in my mind that NST has what it takes.

and the only thing that Wave Race has over Blue Storm is music, and style. level design and gameplay wise, Blue Storm is better in every way. the two just can't be compared if you actually know what you're doing in Blue Storm.

I, for one, am confident this game will kick ass.

I've seen people complain about every other change Nintendo has made in their games, from Zelda: WW to Metroid Prime, and those games have been nothing but excellent.

Can't really comment on those shots, except that the texture in the top shot looks like shit.

I still can't believe how unappreciated Blue Storm is. NST totally revamped and improved the gameplay, but people are either too afraid of change or just plain suck at the game too much to notice the little things that make it a great game.
