Nice... I am happy to hear so much positive feedback on this game so far because it looks pretty damn cool. I hope the final product lived up to it.Quote:

Thanks. :)
The game looks like a mix of Mario 64 and the visual style somewhat of Goemon but with every screenshot I'm more interested in it.
I played the demo included with the PS2 version of Soul Calibur 2. Cute graphical style and characters, controls were fine, but it played like the most generic platformer ever. Did nothing for me at all. Reminded me (graphics and gameplay) of Argonauts' PS1 game, Croc, but with a sword.
Of course, I didn't play the entire demo, so it may have improved from where I played, but nothing in the first half of the demo compelled me to continue.
I gotta say, I kinda feel the same way. I went with the PS2 version of Soul Cal 2 pretty much just for the I-Ninja demo, and it really didn't do too much for me. I mean, I still like the character a lot, but the gameplay was pretty generic (I wasn't compelled to finish the demo myself either, so it may get better). Though the sound is really the weakest part of the game imo, it just makes you bored. Hopefully the final game will better, it seems all of the demos on this disc were pretty sloppy.Quote:

Yeah, it was just very...quiet. Not exciting at all. It's a shame that Malice got cancelled and this game makes it out...Quote:

I've known about this game for awhile. Nothing really drew me in to the game, but I may want to take another look because that character design is a very fresh approach to the typical shadow warrior.
The graphics are a little bit blocky, but I can put up with that if the level design and character designs are up to par. (Great gameplay a must, which should go without saying)
UH-OH! I bumped a really old topic.
Just played this demo on the OPM mag today for myself (for some reason I didn't even see it at e3 originally, but i wasn't around the namco booth that much)
I have to say, this is the most fun I've had with a platformy game since Mario Sunshine. It's cutetastic, but besides that, it's a really all around good play. Also, the music, even though it sounds a little generic at times, is really good at matching the mood. Good Stuff! I really want to buy this game now.
I was the complete opposite.Quote:

I mean, it seemed okay, but I could see myself losing interest after a few hours of play. Maybe I'll pick it up on the cheap one of these days...
