I'm definetly excited for this one. Thanks to playing too much Initial D: Arcade Stage, I don't really have a good grip on American performance cars (I don't get as excited for them) so this is awesome. I hope all the racing isn't done in a city though. That would uhhh...be pretty boring considering that Midnight Club II is out.

How was the NFS2 Xbox port? It's thirty bucks now and I'd like to get it. I can't find the official thread from way back, though. I've heard the PS2 version is the best, but the custom soundtrack option is way tempting for me.
The Xbox version is just as shitty as the GC and PC ones, because they were all made by the same team.
The ps2 versions remains supreme, and it IS one of the best ps2 games I've played yet.

Hot Pursuit 2 was my favourite racer. So, that in mind, if it plays like that then this title will be highly wanted on my list :)

if it plays like the HPII for PS2 all over it in a heart beat...i agree with many of you who say HPII is the best PS2 game to date...
