I love PSO and the upcoming card game looks nice but I would like to see Sega take a break from online Phantasy Star and make a fully developed offline game. It doesn't need to be turn-based like the old games; an Action/RPG similar to PSO in gameplay would be fine by me.

Action RPG would work, but it would have to be a little more developed than how it is in PSO.
I'd love to see a totally reimagined offline RPG PS. Overhaul everything. The PS universe is still an awesome setting. I just hope they could get the composer of the original series to score the music, as he seems to have dropped off the face of the earth (music is a big part of the series, IMO).

I don't trust Overworks after the banality of Arcadia. Sonic Team + Kodama would be ideal.
I agree with Frog about the music. It is definitely a major part of Phantasy Star's appeal. The setting is the major reason I love Phantasy Star. Other RPGs have better gameplay but PStar's world is just amazing.
