Yoshi, I can't think of any games Sony released before 1983. They published Konami's Computer Billiards, Crazy Train, UPL's Mouser and some other 1983 MSX games I can't remember.

The Super Nintendo wipes it's ass with the Genesis and if anyone says different, I'll Super Scope their ass!
I love both...
Bring it on, bitch. My Menacer will whoop your Super Scope's ass any day of the week. :sneak:Quote:

Jeremy, don't try to give me history lessons. I am well aware of Imagesoft and their God awful Hook, Dracula, etc. A small developer is not exactly the same as a huge console maker.

Yoshi, you said they weren't involved in the gaming industry before the PSX, which wasn't true. Don't get all pissy at me because you can't word things correctly.

I loved the Genesis more than the Super Nintendo the first 3 years, but after playing games like Super Metroid, UN Squadron, Super Punchout, Zelda:ALTTP, and Final Fantasy III, it was evident, that the power of the SNES soundchip and colors available, made this the premier 16-bit console of choice for me. Add to that, an excellent port of Street Fighter II and a better version of MKII and you had a great console, that came into it's prime, late in the contest.
The Genesis was great with titles like Herzog Zwie, EA sports titles, and great RPG's like Phantasy Star 2, Shining in the Darkness and Shining Force, but any Sega fan just could'nt deny the phenominal list of titles available on the SNES.
Actually the pre-NES 8-bit era provided one hell of a battle.Quote:

Not only is a genre by genre comparison quite valid, but there are many more variables to consider than just Genesis Vs SNES.
