I knew Joel was a moron when in one of the Matrix dvd docs he talks about the Wachowski's showing him a "japanimation cartoon" (which was obviously Ghost in the Shell). Why is it a prerequesite for the moneymen to be so out of touch with the artists they finance? What makes this all so strange is that Joel produced some of the greatest movies ever, The Matrix, LOTR, and Apacolypse Now.

So Keanu performed slow, sloppy kung-fu in one of the most overrated movies of all time and now I'm supposed to believe he can beat Jet Li?

I really don't believe the Matrix sequels will show me anything to think otherwise.
I read an article about Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith) recently and he was talking about his kung-fu. Basically he said that it would be totally unpragmatic in real life, so if anyone jumped at him on the street the only way he'd be able to defend himself would be if the assailant did the exact same moves in the Neo vs Smith fight. I'm sure it'd be the same for Keanu.
But the dude could just command an army of Immortal elves against his assailants!

Real kung-fu's pretty worthless in a fight. I wouldn't be surprised if Keanu could take Li just by tackling him and repeatedly punching him in the face. He's alot bigger.
