Some interesting stuff - it's a MMORPG based on the pen-and-paper role-playing game version of the miniatures game "Warhammer", by Games Workshop.
Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play, the book they're basing the MMORPG, is one of the all-time greatest pen-and-paper games ever - one of my favorites. Absolutely fantastic, brutal dark fantasy atmosphere, and one of the best-developed in-game universes I've ever seen. The career system (the way you build your character) is terrific too - a lot of variety, playing Troll Slayers, Bawds (pimps), Alchemists, Rat Catchers, so on. The RPG is a perfect fit for a MMORPG. Warhammer FRP is also one of the most violent RPGs I've ever played, and everyone likes violence.
Plus, Sega is publishing it, which seems to make it more likely that it'll come out on the Xbox.
The PvP system they're doing is neat too - people can only PvP people in a career antithetical to theirs. Witches get to PvP Witch-Hunters, Bandits vs. Bounty Hunters, Poachers vs. Gamewardens... I'd imagine once you get up into the really nasty careers like Judicial Champion or Assassin that you get to PvP anyone evil, that sort of thing.
MMORPGs have fundamental gameplay problems that these Warhammer guys probably won't resolve - still, the subject matter is exciting.
