Anyone know how to get the E tank that's hidden in the celing? You know the one I'm talking about.

Also, I just got the high jump, and I think I'm supposed to go up in this place where there are 2 creatures to freeze, and some walls to jump off of, but it seems impossible. I'm looking for the objective in Brinstar where it's in a place that's not shown on the map yet, and it's up pretty high.


I hate getting stuck.

Uh... at the very beginning? If it's anything like the original, a high jump will reach it. Or you can be l33t and use the ice beam on one of them bat things.

Super Metroid: holding R locks you at up/forward, holding L locks you at down/forward, holding L+R locks you at straight up.

The bats don't freeze, and it doesn't seem like the high jump will make it.


PS. Now I'm stuck in Norfair, gotta go down way lower than the map somehow.

you can bomb-jump, too. it's much easier in this game than in the original.

There's a section of the wall you can jump into (the wall goes transparent), from there you can leap up and get the E-tank.
