Too bad I hate the Prime series... well... most of it.

No go with FPS? I thought it alright, but hey. Lots of people prefer the older Metroid, and I don't blame them. It worked incredibly well as a platformer.

Everyone asking for a Metroid 2 remake is correct. Expect Nintendo to get around to it around 2035. It can be a Virtual Virtual Virtual Console release.

Backtracking is a bit more of a pain since you can't dash, but otherwise the Prime games have been great. Yes, Echoes too.
