This could either really catch on, or bomb. Hopefully some cartoons that don't suck (barring Kirby, which rules, due to it being Kirby) will be adapted for it. Oh, and Escargoon is your ruler.
To me, that souonds very lame. Especially since it sounds like they will not be GBA-exclusive episodes. I'd rather watch it on Saturday morning than on a GBA.
However, the compression technology sounds interesting. 2 episodes should be roughly 40 min. FMV games on GBA? An interesting concept...
I'd use it as an archival tool, if nothing else. I don't think GBA-exclusive eps would be all that realistic to expect due to the cost of making the episode.
I have no interest in this at all, but I can see how it will appeal to many kids out there. For those out there that do not have TV's with VCRs/DVDs in their can now watch their favorite TV shows while on their way to school or on a long road trip.

Unless someone finds a way to re-flash these carts and I can put on an episode of The Family Guy there's nothing for me here.
Kids might like 'em, but really...these devices and things they come up with like these cartoon carts, MP3 players and what not don't always appeal to me.
I recall one that plays the video from a flash memory card (SD? whatever it was), that I can dig because the storage is enough to be useful.
40 minutes is neat, but if it's not recordable...*shrug*.
Like I said someone else might like it more than I.
